How to Create Paymaya Account — Digital Wallet and Payment
Here’s how:
Register to Paymaya by downloading the app on playstore or ios- Enter the necessary personal information
- Tap “Agree”
- Wait for the verification SMS that will be sent to your registered number
- Enter the verification code on your app
- Tap “Proceed”
- Input an invite code for additional rewards (invite code - 49hf8nm)
Note: Your mobile number will be your official PayMaya account number.

You can link up to 3 physical cards to your PayMaya account.
You can find your updated daily and monthly account limits in your profile
For faster upgrade approval, make sure that the name and birthday that you entered matches the ID that you uploaded.
1. Log in to your PayMaya account. Once in the app, access the menu then select UPGRADE YOUR ACCOUNT.
2. Fill out the required information and make sure you have at least one [1] valid primary ID. Please ensure that the Name and Birthday you entered in the Upgrade Application form matches the Name and Birthday reflected in the Valid ID that you will be uploading.
- Driver's License
- Passpport
- UMID*
- SSS ID (digitized, with photo)
- PRC License
- Postal ID (issued 2015 onwards)

*Tip: For Faster upgrader approval, use your UMID or other IDs on the list above.
3. Record and submit a 4 to 5-second video selfie
a. When taking the video selfie, you must follow the instructions onscreen and take note of the required gestures.
b. Make sure not to cover any part of your face and remember to position your head / face properly in the video capture frame.
4. After recording your video selfie, review your application and click on SUBMIT.
5. You may monitor the status of your application by clicking on CHECK MY UPGRADE STATUS in the app menu.
6. Once your upgrade application is approved, you will receive an SMS confirmation within 24 hours and can then start enjoying the features of your upgraded PayMaya account.

IMPORTANT: PayMaya and its official representatives will never ask for your PayMaya password, 16-digit card number, and One-Time Password (OTP), nor charge you to upgrade your account.

How do I Add Money via Debit/Credit Card?
You can follow these easy steps on how to Add Money via Debit/Credit Card:
- Log-in your PayMaya app.
- From the home page, tap Add Money
- Choose the “Using Credit or Debit Card” option
- Select Using New Card if you haven’t saved any card yet.
- Choose from the pre-defined amount and fill out the required information
- Confirmation page will show the total amount to be deducted in your credit or debit card.
- Tap Submit
- Depending on your bank, you will be required to enter a One-Time PIN that will be sent to your mobile number. Once done, tap Proceed
- You will receive an SMS and your account will be credited.
